| Description | This project, will seek reimbursement, in part or whole from federal funds through the FEMA Public Assistance Program, and as such, bidder must comply with all applicable Federal Law, Regulations, Executive Orders, FEMA policies, procedures and directives. CONTRACTOR shall review all documents, specifications, plans and scope of work provided by Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department for Hurricane Irma Canopy shade structures repair and/or replacement work to be completed. CONTRACTOR shall perform work at Zoo Miami. CONTRACTOR shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials and documentation including photographs required to comply with the intent of the WORK described in the contract documents including but not limited to: 1. Restore all designated shade structures to pre-storm conditions. 2. Replace all shade and waterproof canopy material with like-for-like material or owner approved substitutions. 3. Replace all hardware/fasteners with Hot-Dipped Galvanized or Stainless Steel. Match existing hardware/fasteners at each location. 4. Pressure clean, stain and seal wood trellis shade structures at A&B prior to installation of shade canopies. Stain and seal to match existing, owner will approve products. Replace any damaged wood with new pressure treated wood members of like size. 5. Contractor to field verify all measurements. 6. Bidders must attend a Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting to bid on the project. | ||
