Bridge Inspection & Maintenance - City of Williamsburg

Bridge Inspection & Maintenance (Page Street, Capitol Landing Road, Merrimac Trail, Bypass Road, Quarterpath Road, and South Henry Street). This project includes federally required biennial inspections in even-numbered fiscal years ($20,000 each) for five (5) bridges and one large box culvert. They are located along Page Street, Capitol Landing Road, Merrimac Trail, Bypass Road, Quarterpath Road, and South Henry Street. In addition to the biennial inspections, replacement of the Page Street bridge bearings are scheduled for FY23 at a cost of $350,000. This project is in the FY 2023 budget for FY2024-2026 for planning purposes. As of January 3, 2023, a design team has not been identified. A construction timeline has not been established yet. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
