Description | **As of August 29, 2022, bids received were rejected . Project will rebid but no definite date yet.** The major work consists of the furnish and installation of one (1) 2,000 gallon diesel fuel tank, concrete pad, fuel dispenser and management system, associated piping facilities, 44 LF. of concrete retaining wall, 200 LF. of valley gutter and miscellaneous asphalt paving improvements. GCSD has not established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal for this project. This is a Public Works Project subject to the rate of prevailing wages as established by the California Department of Industrial Relations. These wages are set forth in the General Prevailing Wage Rates for this project, available from the California Department of Industrial Relations Internet web site. In accordance with the provision of Section 3300 of the Public Contract Code, at the time this contract is awarded, the Contractor shall possess a Class A California State Contractor's License. Bids are required for the entire work described herein. This contract is subject to state contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements pursuant to Government Code, Section 12990. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5. No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project (awarded on or after April 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder. GCSD reserves the right to reject all bids, and to waive any minor irregularities in any bid. The Bidder is required to sign the attached Non-collusion Affidavit and submit it with his bid. |
