Description

The Project contemplated consists of swageline operations for the 48 Water Transmission Main from Tulane Stadium entrance across from Versailles Blvd. to Upperline Ave. and for the 30 Water Transmission Main from Jefferson Ave. to Upperline Ave. The swageline operation will include insertion & receiving pits to perform the swagelining, installation of new 48 & 30 butterfly valves & valve vaults, and a new 8 water main to provide service to houses from Soniat St. to Upperline Ave. Also, asphalt patching will be required at swageline pit locations & valve vault removal & installation locations; and mill & overlay of S. Claiborne will be required as shown on the pavement plans
