Epoxy Lining Of Potable Water Mains

For the epoxy lining of various potable water mains within the City of Canandaigua . Work under this section includes, but is not limited to, structural repair of 12" diameter, cementitious lined, cast iron, potable watermain by trenchless lining. A. Contractor shall provide the following, all in accordance with the project specifications 1. Install, maintain and remove temporary water services to homes and businesses as shown on the attached map 2. All necessary labor, tools, equipment and materials for the inspection cleaning, and lining, of the water mains to be repaired. B. City shall provide 1. All necessary public notices 2. Traffic control 3. Excavation 4. Opening and closing of lining access points, including pipe materials and fittings 5. All required disinfection and lab testing 6. Site restoration. 7. Outdoor staging and material storage areas for the Contractor's use at the Public Works facility at 205 Saltonstall Street. 8. Record drawings of the mains to be lined are included with this document. Although they are marked "As Built" they should not be considered to be accurate representations of current conditions. All bids will be submitted on forms furnished by the City and will be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities or accept or reject any or all bids or options that it deems to best serve the needs of the City of Canandaigua.
