Macomb County Sheriff'S Office Marine Patrol Boathouse

The Project consists of: Complete demolition of the existing MC Sheriff’s Office Marine (4) boat well Patrol Boathouse in its entirety and construction of a new 12,516sf building with (5) boat well of masonry construction. The facility will consist of an administrative area, boat wells and a garage area, with a ICC500 storm shelter contained within the garage area. The administration area will have interior metal stud and drywall partitions, locker rooms, conference rooms, offices, kitchen, toilets and associated items. Roofs will consist of standing seam metal roofs with a flat BUR area for mechanical units. A generator will be included in the project. Site work consists of a new seawall, grade elevation revisions, new exterior docks, site remediation, setting up temporary facilities and maintaining services for the Sheriff’s Dept. on the DNR fisheries portion of the site. This includes relocating permanently (2) existing exterior docks form the current boathouse facility to the DNR fisheries area. Site work also includes removal of the existing above ground fueling station (salvage existing above ground tank), remediation of soil and install of a new fuel station with dual containment.
