West Front Street Extension

The Work includes the complete construction of a new roadway, pedestrian sidewalk, and bike path connecting Sassafras Street Extension at its western terminus and State Street at its eastern terminus. The roadway will be approximately 1,800' in length and will include two 11' wide travel lanes, 4' wide shoulders, an 8' wide concrete sidewalk along the north side and a 10' wide asphalt bike path along the south side. The Work will also include the construction of an asphalt paved parking area, precast modular retaining wall, railing, concrete curbs and sidewalks, lighting, landscaping, utility relocations, drainage, signage, and pavement markings.
