Bridge Rehabilitation

The New Hope - Lambertville Toll-Supported Bridge connects the Borough of New Hope in Pennsylvania with the City of Lambertville in New Jersey. The New Hope Lambertville bridge is a six span steel, pin connected Pratt truss bridge. The structure is 1,045'-6 1/2 " long, and 23' wide center to center trusses. Span lengths are 171'-1/8" each, center to center of bearings. The rehabilitation work includes Cleaning and painting the steel superstructure; Structural steel repairs; replacing sidewalk bridge deck panels; re-Anodizing the pedestrian hand railings; patching spalls and replacing concrete approach sidewalk areas; repointing and misc. masonry repairs; replacement of bridge highway lighting, including cabling and conduit; installation of a new generator and electrical upgrades; replacement of ESS conduit, fiber, and equipment; and installation of esthetic lighting.
