Tree Removal and Mowing in Utility Easements

Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the City of Durham Department of Water Management (DWM) is soliciting proposals from firms to provide Tree removal and Mowing/Bush hogging services in City Utility easements and public ROW. Contractor selection will be based on qualifications and price. The City anticipates that at the conclusion of the RFP process, it will award a contract based on the services detailed in the RFP. Generally, work will include sites throughout the Durham service area. The selected contractor will be responsible for working with City staff to interact with residents, in order to clear trees/brush/grass in easement and right-of-way areas. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals in the best interest of the City.
