Description | Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Warren, New Jersey, for the Resurfacing & Rehabilitation of Warren County Route #624 (Belvidere Avenue), Oxford Township The approximate major work items include: 1. 660 Tons Hot Mix Asphalt 2. 5,082 S.Y. Milling 3. 1,748 L.F. Concrete Curb 4. 790 S.Y. Concrete Sidewalk 5. 6 Units Inlets, Manholes, Reset or Reconstruct CONTRACT BID DOCUMENTS, project number, name of Bidder and date and time of bid opening, and addressed to Marie S. Watters, Director of Purchasing, Wayne Dumont, Jr. Admin. Bldg., 165 Rt. #519 So, Belvidere, NJ 07823. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond and made payable to the order of Warren County Treasurer's Office, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid; provided said check or bid bond shall not exceed $20,000.00. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any minor irregularities or informalities in the bids. The Contractor is put on notice that he must pay workers the prevailing wage rates promulgated by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Industry for this project, pursuant to Chapter 150, Laws of 1963 (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25, et. seq.). All bidders must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. (P.L. 1975, C. 127) and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action); P. L. 1977, C. 33 (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2) (Stockholder Disclosure Certification); P. L. 2003, C. 91 (The Public Works Contractor Registration Act) and P. L. 2004, C. 57 (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44) (Contractor Business Registration Act). Any inquiry which could postpone the bid opening date needs to be received eleven (11) or more business days prior to the date fixed for opening of Bids. Any inquiry which could require an addendum must be received at least eight (8) or more business days prior to the date fixed for opening of Bids. |
