Description

Emergency Generator Preventive Maintenance (Service Agreement) - Contractor must carry appropriate licenses and/or certifications providing authorization to perform scheduled programmed maintenance and make parameter adjustments to a variety of brands of industrial generators. Generators will be serviced twice with a Fall season Minor/Level 1 PM and a Spring season Major/Level 2 PM. All work must be completed during normal business hours when possible. Contractor must provide a written report for each scheduled PM outlining unsatisfactory conditions of generator and associated equipment. The scheduled repots shall include a detailed fluid analysis for engine lubricants (Level I/Minor PM only) and coolant systems. The Contractor shall provide all fluids and filters. Air filters shall be changed upon Owner ' s approval. Contractor must provide a Load Bank Test for the Level 2/Major PM with a 50% load for 15 minutes, an 80% load for 30 minutes, and a 100% load for 15 minutes, with a written report outlining system performance and deficiencies. Auto transfer switch(es) (ATS) shall be inspected both visually and thermally. If at all possible, all work stated must be completed the same day with all equipment in running order. A lead tech shall be assigned for this work as a point of contact to resolve all issues. Contractor providing scheduled programmed maintenance must also be capable of performing emergency generator installation and repair.
