Description

MEVE-REPAIR WATER DAMAGE: Project is to replace water damaged drywall and flooring material in park housing units 310C, 310D and 205C. Unit 310 is located in the Farview area of the park 15 miles into the park and unit 205 is located in the Morefield area 4 miles into the park. - Unit 310D: water damage near the front entry way and in the kitchen area of this unit. Repairs will include replacing approximately 2 sheets of 4’x8’ subfloor, 4 sheets of 4’x8’ drywall, 1 corner strip for drywall, 16’9”x36” door jam, 10’x15’ linoleum in kitchen area, 6’x9’ linoleum in entry hallway and closets, and approximately 570 sq feet of carpet in the living room, hallway and bedrooms. - Unit 310C: water damage inside the front entry way of this unit and along the common wall with unit 310D. This unit will require replacing 1 4’x8’ sheet of subfloor and 3 4’x8’ sheets of drywall. This unit will need new water barrier installed over the replaced subfloor and have the laminate flooring reinstalled over patched area. Areas of replaced drywall will be textured and painted to closely match existing paint. - Unit 205C: In this unit the furnace and water will need to be removed from the utility closet to replace the subfloor. This unit will need 3 4’x8’ sheets of drywall and 1 4’x8’ sheet of subfloor. The gas water heater needs to be replaced with an electric water heater of similar size, new wiring will need to be installed to operate the electric water heater. There is a leak from the swamp cooler shut off in the closet that will need repaired also and the floor drain will need to be set lower than the surrounding floor. The furnace will need to be reinstalled after replacing drywall and subfloor.
