Description

The Government has issued a Fair Opportunity Proposal Request (FOPR) FA890323R0002 under the Air Force Worldwide Engineering & Construction (WE&C) IDIQ contract vehicle pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 16.505 ordering procedures. SCOPE OF WORK: The proposed work is to architecturally modernize and renovate the Intelligence Facility Building 2145 at Beale Air Force Base, California. Building 2145 is a 4-story building plus a basement. Facility was originally constructed in the late 1950's and is approximately 179,000 square feet in area with administrative space for multiple user groups performing missions, in ICD-705 compliant spaces. The construction is to be executed in multiple phases to allow uninterrupted operations in the facility and minimize relocating occupants into temporary areas in the building. The contractor shall repair/renovate building infrastructure (fire protection, MEP, communications, etc.) in accordance with all applicable codes and standards. IAW DFARS 236.204, the Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) for this project is between $100M and $250M A second site visit is currently scheduled on 9 Feb 2023 at Beale AFB, CA.
