North McKinney Transfer Lift Station Project and North McKinney Transfer Force Main Project - Phase 1 and 2 Improvements

This project includes the construction of a new lift station, North McKinney Transfer Lift Station (NMTLS), with a total capacity of 128 MGD, which includes the installation of nine (9) new dry pit solids handling pumps, each with new motors controlled by adjustable frequency drives (AFDs). The project also includes the construction of associated yard piping, a junction box to split flow between the existing NMLS and new NMTLS, a flow meter vault for the new NMTLS, an electrical building for the new NMTLS and backup generators for the new NMTLS. This project also includes the construction of two 48-inch force mains with associated appurtenances that begin at the flow meter vault at the new NMTLS and continue along the proposed alignment for approximately 4.4 miles to the new Sister Grove Regional Water Resource Recovery Facility (SGRWRRF). The project includes a fiber optic communication cable that will run parallel to the proposed force mains and connect at the new SGRWRRF. The force main project also includes permanent access driveways.
