Galilee Pump Station Valve Replacement and Pump Removal and Installation

Remove and dispose two (2) existing 6-inch diameter pump suction isolation valves and furnish and install two (2) replacement valves with new wrench operators. Remove and dispose two (2) existing restrained flanged coupling adapters and furnish and install two (2) replacement fittings. Remove and dispose one (1) existing wastewater pump (Pump No. 1) and install one (1) replacement pump to be furnished by the Town. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials and components as required to complete the work unless specifically indicated otherwise, and shall provide a one (1) year warranty for all work and materials furnished by the Contractor. Contractor shall protect all components of the existing facility to remain and conduct the work without damaging the existing station. The suction valve replacement work must be completed in one day (both valves replaced in single work shift). Contractor must complete the valve replacement work and removal of existing pump no later than June 14, 2021. Contractor shall complete the new pump installation work within two (2) weeks of delivery from the manufacturer (anticipated delivery June 14, 2021). All work must be scheduled in advance with the Town. The work site is located at the Galilee Pump Station, 335 Great Island Road, Narragansett, RI 02882 (at intersection of Galilee Escape Road).
