RFQ Contractor - California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA) Annual Contractor

The Desert Sands Unified School District has elected to become subject to the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA). In accordance with Public Contract Code 22034, the District invites all licensed contractors, who are interested in performing public works construction and/or repair projects up to an estimated $200,000.00 to register their firm for inclusion on a list of qualified bidders for the 2023 calendar year. Contractors will be required to provide evidence of Commercial General Liability and Automobile Liability insurance and evidence of the ability to provide Payment and Performance Bonds, accordingly. The District may create a new licensed contractors list effective January 1st of each year. The list may include any contractors the District desires, but shall include, at a minimum, all licensed contractors who have properly provided the District with the required information during the calendar year in which the list is valid, or during November or December of the prior year. Initial registration deadline is December 31, 2022; however, registration is ongoing throughout the calendar year.
