For the City of Flagstaff Route 66 S. Edge: Fanning to Route 66 Project. The City of Flagstaff Route 66 S. Edge: Fanning to Route 66 is a project to beautify the southeast corner of Route 66 and Fanning Drive. The enhanced landscaping will serve as a point of interest as well as a visual screen of the industrial park to the south. This includes landscaping, berms, FUTS fencing, and a reclaimed water irrigation system as shown on the Civil Plans, attached as Exhibit D. There will be 40' of FUTS fencing on both sides of Fanning Drive at the intersection of Route 66. The fencing is 6' 2" tall unpainted steel rail. The fencing will have two (2) Route 66 signs that are 2.76' x 2.64' welded to the fence and made of Corten steel. The project is located on a City owned parcel between Route 66 and the BNSF right-of-way. This summary is not a comprehensive account of the work.
