Solicitations valued at or below $50,000 will not require bid security. Failure to accept an award may restrict an Offeror from participating in future opportunities, for a period of time, as determined by the City Purchasing Agent. Awards valued at or below $50,000 will not require a performance guarantee. Failure to perform to the City's satisfaction will be factored in to the City's determination of the Offeror's responsibility, in future solicitation evaluations. The City Purchasing Agent reserves the right to: A. Increase or decrease award(s) as necessary to meet the City's requirements; B. Reject any or all Offers and/or waive technical defects if, in its judgment, the interest of the City shall so require; C. Award to more than one Offeror, in order to meet the City's needs; D. Retain all Offer documents whether rejected or not; and/or E. Enter into additional contracts near the date of Contract expiration or earlier termination to ensure continuity of service to the City.
