Airfield Lighting (ALSF-1) & (ALCMS-1)

The purpose of this project is to provide Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph AFB with an Airfield Approach Light Sequence Flashing (ALSF-1) / a new Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring System (ALCMS-1). Replace sequence lights, associated equipment/components, and control panels. Contractor is also responsible for installing new in-pavement housing assemblies and replacing compatible in pavement lighting assemblies at specified locations on the runway and thresholds. replace the system (strobe light components only, not approach lighting. Remove, replace, & install new 15L/33R threshold lights & runway end light fixtures, bulbs & frames, & all in-pavement approach lighting fixtures, bulbs, & frames...Approximately 106 on 15L end & 106 on the 33R end of runway.Install~212 lighting fixtures....project upgrades a current airfield system that is antiquated and nearing the end of its life cycle. Equipment connectivity in the control towers, airfield lighting vaults, and associated power/electrical/communications lines need to be updated and/or replaced.
