Onslow County Subtitle D Landfill Phase 5 Landfill Expansion

The County of Onslow will accept sealed bids from pre-qualified single prime Contractors for the Phase 5 Subtitle D Landfill Expansion Construction Project. This project generally includes the construction of an 11-acre Subtitle D landfill expansion that includes clearing and grubbing, erosion and sedimentation control, excavation and backfill, the installation of an 18-inch minimum compacted low-permeability soil liner with a maximum hydraulic conductivity of 1.0 x 10-5 cm/s, a geosynthetic clay liner, 60-mil textured high-density polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane liner, tie-in of the Phase 5 liner system to the existing Subtitle D landfill, the installation of HDPE leachate and landfill gas collection piping, access road construction, geotechnical instrumentation installation, and electrical work. only Contractors that have been pre-qualified by the County of Onslow will be able to submit a bid package for the project. Bids will not be accepted after 2:00 PM on December 14, 2022. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure accurate and timely delivery of the bid. The award of a contract under this solicitation will be paid with federal funding. Funding is contingent upon compliance with all terms and conditions of funding award. All prospective Contractors shall comply with all applicable federal laws, regulations, executive orders, FEMA requirements and the terms and conditions of the funding award.
