| Description | Description of Work: Work includes hydraulic dredging with placement of the dredged material into the Money Island Disposal Area in Falls Township, Pennsylvania. The base contract dredging between Stations 88+548 and 123+00 as well as the Option work in the Fairless Turning Basin, if awarded, will be required to a depth of 41’ MLLW (Datum) plus 1’ allowable overdepth. Dredging between Sta 123+000 and 124+000, will be required to a depth of 25’ MLLW plus 1’ allowable overdepth. The contractor will also be required to construct various, miscellaneous dike and sluice improvements within the Money Island Disposal Area. Sufficient borrow material for dike construction is available within the overall limits of the disposal area. |
