Description | As of January 5, 2022, the project has been awarded. Construction is expected to commence in October, 2023, and be completed in April, 2024. Bids must be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope and plainly marked with the Name and Number of the Contract Bid, and contain the Name and Address of the Bidder on the envelope, pursuant to Section 00200, Item 2 Submission of Bids. Bids may be hand delivered to the CMCMUA by placing the Bid in the drop box located to the left of the front entrance of the CMCMUAs Adminis-tration Building, 1523 Route 9 North, Cape May Court House or may be submitted via certified mail or overnight delivery. The Authority assumes no responsibility for Bids received after the designated time and date, and will return late Bids to the Bidder unopened. All Bids will be unsealed and contents announced by electronic means, and as such, members of the public may view this event, by YouTube Livestream at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoJZ-M289FL1v7bw6WQgwyA. To maintain social distancing measures, members of the public physically present in the CMCMUAs Administration Building to witness the unsealing of submitted Bids will view the event by YouTube Livestream in the CMCMUAs Public Meeting Room. Bids documents will be made available to attendees for inspection after the Bids and/or RFPs scheduled for the day have been opened. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and of N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. The Authority reserves the right, in accordance with the provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2, to reject all bids as permitted by this Statute. Questions received less than fourteen (14) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect, *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
