Description

DTPW has a need to obtain construction services for the replacement of a portion of the acoustical barriers located along the Metrorail system from Abutment AB-1-NS near the Dadeland South Station to AB-1381-NS, which is east of the Palmetto Station. This project is for Phase 3 (Part 2 of 2) and consists of the testing, furnish and installation of a portion of acoustical barriers with associated hardware along the Metrorail system where Type "B" concrete acoustical barriers have been removed. The Contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state and local regulations, including, but not limited to: Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements and Fall Protection guidelines when performing all work. All work will be performed on an electrified, elevated guideway system, around and over busy streets and expressways. The Contractor shall coordinate all Maintenance of Traffic needs with the agency having jurisdiction as well as with DTPW staff as required. All permit fees required for the proper and safe performance of the work shall be included in the bid line items.
