Description | Bids will be received for a lump sum, single prime, Overall General Construction Contract. Each bidder is strongly encouraged to attend this conference. Bidders must use and complete fully, proposal blanks, within the Project Manual furnished by the Owner and Comply With All Requirements Attached Thereto, and Include a certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Bid Bond, in an amount of ten percent of the bid, including alternates, but not in excess of $20,000.00, furnished by a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. The Paterson Parking Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with applicable law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.A.C. 17:27 and N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2. The Contractor and listed sub-contractors are required to comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 The Public Works Contractor Registration Act and must submit certification(s) in accordance with the law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 for proof of Business Registration Certification. The New Jersey Economic Development Authority has minority & female goals for this project. The goal for Passaic County is 6.9% female. Bids must be submitted, on forms supplied, in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and addressed to the Paterson Parking Authority, 125 Broadway, Suite 100, Paterson, New Jersey, 07505. Attention: Mr. Tony Perez, Executive Director, with the caption Sealed Bid and clearly indicating bid title, due date and time. Bids shall be received, either in person, at the hour designated in this notice, at Paterson Parking Authority, 125 Broadway, Suite 100, Paterson, New Jersey, 07505, OR previous thereto, by delivery or by mail to Paterson Parking Authority, 125 Broadway, Suite 100, Paterson, New Jersey, 07505, Attention: Mr. Tony Perez, Executive Director. If bids are mailed or delivered in person ahead of the time for receipt to the designated location, they are to be inserted in a smaller bid envelope, sealed, and the small envelope is to be inserted into a larger envelope for mailing or delivery clearly marked Sealed Bid. The Paterson Parking Authority will not assume responsibility for bids not delivered in person. Please take note that some overnight delivery services offer a service which guarantees delivery of your packages by 9:00 A.M. The Paterson Parking Authority may not be open at this early hour and some vendors are discovering that the delivery services will not re-attempt delivery of the package until after the bid opening. Please be guided accordingly. It is the bidders responsibility to ensure that bids are presented to the Paterson Parking Authority on the hour and at the place designated. Addendum #1 has been issued as of 3-30-2022. |
