Description | I. The general items of work to be done hereunder consist of the following; a. The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Proposal Documents to construct the above-stated project. b. The Fuel Canopy specs shall require the following: i. The structure shall be least 52’x72’ width and length, single slope 15’ low side 17” high side canopy and columns spacing to accommodate large buses/transit vehicle on the south side of the above ground storage tanks.. ii. Galvalume PBR roof panels iii. Galvanized Z purlins iv. Open all four sides v. Eight foundations vi. Eight columns vii. Engineering design and building permits c. Underground utilities locates d. Onsite dirt relocation's e. The Structure shall be manufactured with quality components and include at least 12 month workmanship warranty. f. The Structure shall include the wet stamped engineering drawings, structural steel frame, steel cables, all fasteners, and installation of structures including project management and foundation. g. The shade structure shall conform to the current adopted version of the State of Florida Building Code 2017. h. Saw-cut breakout and remove concrete of the installation of eight concrete canopy footings 5’x5x’6 with anchor bolts for new fuel island canopy. i. Square off existing concrete, form and pour concrete for excavated areas to existing finish great. j. Soil test and approval by Contractor, if required by the City Building Department k. Stockpiling, transporting and dispose of contaminated soil l. Dewatering m. Column and top steel to have oxide prime coating n. Provide gutters/scuppers to direct rainwater to the low side of the canopy o. Contractor shall maintain access and the ability to fuel large vehicles such as, Fire Tower Trucks and other large vehicles. p. Footing design to meet applicable wind loading. q. Related requirements in other parts of the Contract Documents: General and Supplementary Conditions of the Contract for Construction. r. The facility will shut down during construction, alternative fueling will be available for employees during this time. |
