Description | The Engineers Estimate for this project is: $300,000. Project scope includes but is not limited to relocation, refurbishment & installation of one (1) 30'x 32' relocatable classroom building, from Frontier ES (occupied) to Dry Creek ES, new wood crib foundations and associated site work, including the installation of (1) pre-engineered aluminum ramp/landing (CFCI) & extension of the existing fire access lane. As shown in the project documents for a complete and operational project. Work to be performed during normal business hours. Prime Contractor bidders shall be required to have a valid Class "A" or "B" Contractor's License. Bids must be from an appropriately licensed contractor and must be sealed. Such bidder's security must be in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed Contract, if the same is awarded to such bidder, and will provide the required performance and payment Bonds, insurance certificates and any other required documents. Within 10 days after notification of the Award of Contract, the successful bidder or bidders will be required to furnish, simultaneously with execution of the Contract, a Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond in the form required by the District, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The Contract Documents for the Project have many unique requirements. Bidders are cautioned to carefully review all of the Contract Documents prior to submitting a Bid and to obtain pre-Bid clarification of any provision which bidder believes is ambiguous or confusing, as provided for in the Contract Documents. In accordance with Education Code Section 17076.11, District has established a participation goal for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE).
