Description | As of September 29, 2022, bids cancelled. The project consists of, but is not limited to, selective site demolition, stripping oftopsoil installation ofnew dugouts, fencing, asphalt paving, installing an irrigation system, importing borrow fill, grading, seeding, stabilization & fertilization. The Work shall include, but not be limited to, demolition, sitework, masonry, asphalt paving, fencing and field accessories. Holly, NJ 08060 (609) 265-2652/0333 Fax Construction shall begin on or about 27 September 2022 and shall be substantially completed on or before 14 April 2023. Bids must be made upon the official Form ofBid and shall include Bid Security in the form of certified check, cashier's check, or by Bid Bond drawn to the order ofthe Owner in the amount of ten percent (10%) ofthe Base Bid but in no case in excess of $20,000.00. The bid shall also be accompanied by an executed Consent ofSurety in accordance with NJ.S.A. 18AJ8A-25, agreeing to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the stated principal amount of one hundred percent (100%) ofthe contract amount, and a two-year Maintenance Bond in the amount often percent (10%) ofthe contract amount. The GLOUCESTER CITY BOARD OF EDUCATION has the right to award the contracts within sixty (60) days ofthe bid opening and reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any non-material defects, as may be permitted by law. Registered Bidders must submit substitution requests or any questions concerning the project to the Architect on Form 006001 BIDDER REQUEST FOR INFORMATION included in the Project Manual no later than 1:00 PM Wednesday, 09/21/2022. The Architect will not respond to questions received by those other than Prime Bidders. |
