PBSO, Motor Pool - Chiller and Make-up Air Replacement

To furnish all material, labor, supervision, permits and supplies necessary and reasonably incidental to replace chiller per the project requirements provided by Capital Improvements Division. to provide and install a new, Trane Air Cooled Chiller and Trane Make-Up Air Unit, or PBC approved equal. The MUA shall include stand-alone controls interface and devices, a new 3- way cooling valve, new rooftop intake with double-walled sheet metal ductwork to the unit. Modify existing chilled water piping to include full-size temporary cooling taps and provide a temporary chiller as needed to prevent disruption of service. Replace all accessories in the chiller yard to include but not limited to new combination disconnect motor starters for chilled water pumps. Air separator, expansion tank, Make-Up water regulator, all valves, checks, air vents, strainers, etc. interconnecting piping shall be modified as needed and insulated with new aluminum jacketed foam glass in the same manner as existing from the chiller to exterior wall penetration.
