Senator Bikeway Phase III, Mifflin Road to DHS

The improvements consist of furnishing all labor and materials to include the design and construction of a bike/ped pathway along RT8 from Mifflin Road to Dover High School. The pathway will be an extension of the Senator Bikeway and make the connection to DHS. The pathway is proposed to be 8' wide. Follow other incidental construction in accordance with the location, notes and details shown on the plans, and as directed by the Engineer. Location: kent county These improvements are more specifically shown on the location map(s) of the attached plans. Pre-bid meeting: no Completion time: all work on this contract must be complete within 53 calendar days. Extensions of contract time due to weather are specified in the standard specifications section 108.7f, weather days. It is estimated a notice to proceed is issued such that work starts on or about december 18, 2023.
