West Lakes Drainage and Roadway Improvements Project

The Stormwater Master Plan identified the West Lakes area as a priority for stormwater improvements. The Project consists of constructing approximately 2,063 linear feet of drainage pipe and 6,790 linear feet of exfiltration trenches (French Drains), connecting to the stormwater main line on NW 89th Avenue leading to an outfall. The Project will also consist of performing restoration and asphalt resurfacing of the existing roadway surfaces impacted by the drainage improvements to increase drainage capacity, reduce localized flooding, improve stormwater runoff, and mitigate local mosquito populations. The Project encompasses four (4) areas of priority, also referred to in the Town of Miami Lakes Stormwater Master Plan as Areas B, C, D, and E.

Division 01 -	General Requirements, Vehicular Access and Parking, Traffic Control, Temporary Barriers and Enclosures.
Division 03 -	Concrete, Precast Concrete.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Flexible Paving, Asphalt Paving, Rigid Paving, Concrete Paving, Paving Specialties, Pavement Markings.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities, Storm Utility Drainage Piping, Storm Utility Water Drains, Storm Drainage Structures.
