Snow Plowing and Ice Removal at South Campus

The University at Buffalo, hereafter known as the "University" is requesting Bids for Snow Plowing and Ice Removal Service at SUNY Buffalo South Campus. The Contractor will be responsible for removing snow and ice from parking lots and surrounding sidewalks, loading docks as shown in Appendix A. This can be done by mechanical or manual means. The Contractor must pay special attention to keep handicapped accessible areas and trash/recycling areas clear from piled or accumulated snow and ice. The Contractor is not responsible for servicing building entrances. The Contractor shall provide these services on an "as-needed" basis when two (2) inches of snow accumulates, or any amount of ice has accumulated on sidewalks, parking lots, building entrances, or as requested by the University Contract Manager. Snow must be hauled away from the sites, to Locations in Appendix A or Contractor's own locations, when there is excessive snowfall, or as requested by the Contract Manager.
