Description | The Superior Court of California, County of Riverside (“Court”) is seeking competitive proposals for experienced, highly qualified and competent commercial/industrial electrical contractors (“Contractor”) to provide labour, materials, equipment, and tools, to perform electrical maintenance, repair, and “as-needed” services as requested by the Court. This is a Public Works project (as defined by California Labour Code §§ 1720 & 1771). Contractor will be subject to the Prevailing Wage rules and regulations imposed by the California Labor Code, Division 2, Part 7, Chapters 1-2 (§§ 1720-1815); and the California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Division 1, Chapter 8, Subchapters 3-6 (8 CCR §§ 16000-17264). Contractor will be responsible for registering with the Department of Industrial Relations, paying its workmen at least the Prevailing Rates of Wages, posting the Prevailing Rates of Wages at each jobsite, maintaining certified payrolls for inspection by the Division of Labour Standards Enforcement of the Department of Industrial Relations, and complying with all other applicable rules and regulations governing Public Works and Prevailing Wages. Acknowledge that the Court reserves the right to bid any job and to use alternative contractors or Court staff to provide any work relative to this RFP. The Court also reserves the right to utilize any information or data provided by Contractor in the furtherance of acquiring bids, materials, or labour without further compensation to Contractor. Any participating government agency is responsible for obtaining its own certificates of insurance and any required performance bonds. The Court makes no guarantee to other government agencies that may utilize the provisions or pricing of this Agreement. Bid date extended from 08/25/2023 01:00 PM per Addendum 1. |
