The project consists of the replacement of the existing structure carrying SR 2040 over Redstone Creek with a precast concrete arch culvert, Redstone Creek realignment, creation of a floodplain, demolition of two buildings, constructing a temporary runaround, and other miscellaneous construction, as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for State Route 2040, Section B10, in the City of Uniontown, Fayette County from approximately 0.22 miles west of the intersection of SR 2027 at segment 0041 offset 1123 to approximately segment 00041 offset 2323.
