Description

The Lowell Weight Room Classroom project consists of a new building constructed on the north end of the Lowell High School property directly adjacent to the existing Lowell bus facilities building. The building will include two classrooms, a weight room, toilet rooms and storage. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a Surety Bond, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check, executed in favor of Lowell School District, in the amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid, based upon the total bid amount for those items bid upon. Either with the Bid or within two working hours of the Deadline for Submission of Bids, bidders shall submit, on the form provided, information first-tier subcontractors furnishing labor or labor and materials, as provided in ORS 279C.370. Licensed by the State Landscape Contractors Board at the time the Bid is made, as required by OAR 137-049-0230. [A license to work with asbestos-containing materials under ORS 468A.720 is not required for this project. For every bid $100,000 or greater, all Contractors and Subcontractors shall have a public works bond, in the amount of $30,000, filed with the Construction Contractors' Board (CCB), before starting work on the project, unless exempt. Prequalification of bidders is not required.
