Taylorsville High School Main Gymnasium Bleachers

Granite School District is requesting the services of a Contractor to remove the existing bleachers in the main gymnasium at Taylorsville High School and to provide and install new telescoping bleachers in the same location. It will be the responsibility of the Contractor to have a protective layer of thin plywood or Masonite or other hard surface material to protect the floor. All damage done to the facility during demolition and installation will be the responsibility of the Contractor to repair as part of this Project. The existing bleachers are electrically retractable and that is the requirement of the new bleachers. All electrical work shall be performed in compliance with the National Electrical Code, current edition. Existing power is 120-volt, supplied to a 30-amp disconnect centered on the wall behind each one of the three bleachers. All questions must be submitted via online no later than Tuesday, December 9, at 3:00 PM. Bidders will be required to provide bid security in an amount equal to at least 5% of the bid amount, at the time the bid is submitted, if the total bid amount for any job is $50,000 or greater. GSD reserves the right to award to award to the next low bidder if for any reason the low bid is not responsive, is withdrawn, rejected, disqualified or the bidder fails to perform.
