Rail, Bridge Timber and Tie Upgrade

The work for this project will be for the provision and delivery of bridge timbers to the Avondale, PA area. Project work will also include pickup or used ties and bridge timbers at off track locations and transport and disposal of same. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder who has based their bid in accordance with the Contract Documents. Award of the Contract is subject to the approval of the PennDOT Bureau of Rail Freight, Ports, and Waterways, who are providing a portion of the funds to complete the project. Sealed Bids should be marked Contract No. ESPN-2-2018RTAP and either mailed or delivered to the attention of Mr. Sauer at the address above. Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted. Bidders may submit bids on all or part of the materials and/or services listed within the Bidding documents. The Company reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive any informalities, bidding irregularities, or technicalities in the bidding process. Bids may be held by the Company for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
