2020 Hot-In-Place Recycled Paving

Location of the Work The location of the work to be completed under this contract includes: 1. East 112th Avenue from Peoria Street to east side of the Union Pacific Railroad tracks located east of US Highway 85. Work to be performed under this contract includes rehabilitation of the surface layer of existing asphalt pavement. Work will be accomplished with specially designed equipment in a simultaneous multiphase process of heating, scarifying, applying an asphalt recycling agent, and remixing and reshaping the acting asphalt surface. The next phase of the process is to place an overlay of new hot asphalt mix in compliance with the lines, grades, thickness and typical cross sections shown on the plans. This Work shall be performed in compliance with the General Conditions, Special Conditions, Project Technical Specifications, and attached plans. The Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the Work in accordance with these specifications. The Contractor will be required to coordinate Work activities with the City, Waste Management, South Adams County Water and Sewer District, School Districts, HOAs and Metro Districts, as applicable.
