| Description | Proposed CMAR project is located in Maricopa, Yavapai and Coconino Counties, Arizona, on Interstate 17 between Van Buren Street and I-17/I-40 Interchange, south of the City of Flagstaff. The work consists of installing a high-speed/capacity fiber optic backbone to be used for interconnecting ITS field devices and connect to existing fiber optic backbone infrastructure in three segments. The three segments of the project will be constructed under two Guarantied Maximum Price (GMP) Proposals. The segment 1 is located along I-17, between Sunset Point and Flagstaff at MP 252 to MP 340 (I-17/I-40 Interchange) shall be completed under GMP-1 Proposal. Segments 2 & 3 are located along I-17, from Sunset Point at MP 252 to Monroe St at MP 198.75; which is south of Van Buren Street shall be completed under GMP-2 Proposal. |
