Smart Meter Replacement Project-Equipment Procurement

PROJECT DESCRIPTION This Procurement Contract for the Supply and Delivery of the AMI/AMR compatible cold-water service meters, Meter Interface Unit (MIUs), and accessories for numerous service locations throughout the Trenton Water Work's distribution system in the Townships of Ewing, Hopewell, and Lawrence, as well as portions the Township of Hamilton, and may include the City of Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey. The approximate quantities of meters being procured are as follows: o (17,000) 5/8"x3/4" Meters; o (300) 5/8"x1/2" Meters; o (7,500) 3/4" Meters; o (900) 1" Meters; o (1) 1-1/2" Compound Meter; o (200) 1-1/2" Turbo Meters; o 2" Compound Meter; o (400) 2" Turbo Meters; o (1) 3" Compound Meter; o (150) 3" Turbo Meters; o (1) 4" Compound Meter; o (50) 4" Turbo Meters; o (1) 6" Compound Meter; o (15) 6" Turbo Meters; o (1) 8" Compound Meter; o (6) 8" Turbo Meters; o (150) 5/8"x3/4" Meters for Installation in below grade meter pits; o (26,900) MIU Units for each Meter; o (5) Mobile Data Collection Units; o (1,700) Additional MIU Units to Replace Existing Sensus MIUs; and o (10) Handheld equipment and software required to program MIU Units Questions to: igarcia@trentonnj.org by May 23, 2023 Anticipated Date of Any Addenda: May 24, 2023
