| Description | Installation of a piston style 3-Post In-Ground lift at existing lift bay #8. The lift shall comprise of one stationary post, in the center, and two movable posts at either ends. Each post shall have a minimum capacity of 30,000 lbs., totaling 90,000 lbs. minimum. Due to the low clearance of some RTA buses, the movable posts shall be capable of being recessed below the finished floor at the pockets of each post or at any position between the minimum and maximum dimensions of the travel range of the movable posts. The movable posts shall be capable of fore and aft travel. The fixed post shall also be capable of being recessed below the floor with the top of the lifting bolster flush to the finished floor level. The power/tank units shall be located outside of the pit and above ground for easy access and maintenance. There shall be a single power/tank unit at a single location for the control all three (3) posts. | ||
