Description

Perform interior building improvements by: reframing and replacing two (2) interior doorways to meet minimum ADA width standards; and, retrofitting the restroom to meet ADA restroom requirements. The selected contractor will also be responsible to perform improvements to the property by: creating two ADA compliant 'van-accessible' concrete parking spaces/aisles; creating an ADA compliant concrete access-ramp from existing grade to the front door of the building; creating a 3-foot wide concrete sidewalk connecting the ADA parking spaces and access-ramp (if required by design); creating a 5-foot wide concrete sidewalk from the ground-level terminus of the access-ramp to the existing 5-foot wide sidewalk of the Town-owned recreation area, and continuing the 5-foot wide sidewalk to the public road "Middle Street" (approximately 120’ linear feet at 5-foot wide).
