Description | **As of September 15, 2023 this project has been cancelled and currently there are no plans on rebidding at this time.** The City of Manchester, Tennessee Will Accept Sealed Bids for Replacement of Gym Flooring at the Manchester Recreation Complex. The City of Manchester Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids. It is the Policy of the City of Manchester, Tennessee to Ensure Compliance With Title Vi of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; 49 Cfr, Part 21. No Person Shall Be Excluded From Participation in or Be Denied the Benefits of, or Be Subjected to Discrimination Under Any Program or Activity Receiving Federal Financial Assistance on the Grounds of Race, Color, Sex, Age, Disablility, or National Origin. All Bidders Must Be Licensed Contractors as Required by the Contractor Licensing Act of 1976 (T.c.a Title 62, Ch 6). All Bids Must Have Contractor's License Number, Date of License's Expiration, Part of the Classification Applying to the Bid and Other Information Required by Law, This Information Must Be Provided by All Parties Submitting the Bid. Work includes removal and replacement of water damaged floating maple gym flooring, including underlayment layers. An additional area of the gym shall be refinished and restriped. All new work in the gym shall match existing for a seamless, homogenous playing surface. Work in both areas shall include all prep, trim and accessory work as required for a complete, finished floor system in the affected areas. Contractor is responsible for delivering, receiving, unloading, and storing all materials on site. |
