The City of Palestine will receive sealed bids/proposals for water line replacement on N. Queen Street from W. Debard Street to E. Crawford Street. Each submission should be sealed with "RFP 2023-010; WATER LINE REPLACEMENT N. QUEEN STREET" clearly identified on the envelope or box. The City of Palestine reserves the right to reject any and/or all the bids/proposals or parts thereof. Queen Street from W. Debard Street to E. Crawford Street: o Replacement of old 6-inch cast iron water main with 380' of 8" C900. o Install one (1) - 1'' services then reduce at meter to 3/4 '' o Install one (1) - 2'' service o Kill out the old main o Install wet tap 6'' x 6'" Cast Iron o Install six (6) valves o Must take Bac-t Samples, and they must all be negative before tying in the water line o Must notify all residents and/or businesses of the start date and what is expected during the project o There is concrete under the asphalt that will need to be removed, and please add removal to bid Your qualification shall be governed by the following schedule: Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 5:00 p.m., Central Standard Time (CST) Deadline for inquiries, questions, or requests for information regarding RFP 2023-010 Waterline Replacement N.
