| Description | Provide utility tunnel steam and condensate pipe replacement and repairs at the High Plains Community Center. Shall include, but not be limited to, the following: • Isolating pipe sections and low pressure air and/or water leak testing sections of pipe to determine where pipe replacement or repair is required. Leak testing is not required where severe pipe corrosion and leak locations are visible. • Cutting, removing, and disposing of sections of leaking and corroded pipe. • Repairing or replacing corroded or leaking pipes, including bends and fittings, per the specifications. • Hangers, valves, steam traps, and other piping components may also be replaced as extra work if determined to be necessary and if approved by the town. |
