Description | The Engineer's Opinion of Probable Construction Cost base bid for Runway, Taxiway, Apron Crack Sealing and Pavement Marking is $136,575.50. The cost for Alternate Bid 1 is $17,232.00 A.I.P. PROJECT NO. 1-3-39-XXXX-XXXX The Huron County Commissioners will not accept and/or consider any bid as an official bid unless said bidder has picked up and paid for a complete bid package from Richland Engineering Limited. In order to bid this project you must be a plan holder of record with Richland Engineering Limited. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. 1. The office of the Huron County Commissioners, 180 Milan Avenue, Suite 7, Norwalk, Ohio 44857. 2. Richland Engineering Limited, 29 North Park Street, Mansfield, Ohio 44902. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said Surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements within Huron County as determined by the United States Department of Labor in accordance with Federal-Aid requirements. The Huron County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive any informalities in any bid, and to determine the lowest and best bidder. No pre-bid meeting is planned for the project. It is advised that all bidders visit the project site prior to submitting any bid.
