Description

Work covered by the Base Bid includes: replacing the HVAC equipment servicing gym and commons area, and replacing exhaust fans servicing two bathrooms. Demolition work consists of: Disconnection and removal of existing exhaust fans, roof mounted HVAC equipment and associated ductwork, partial demolition and modification of existing roof construction, removal of existing thru-wall grilles and fans, removal of existing window opening panels, demolition and removal of existing wooden chase structure and abandoned piping in gym. New work consists of: Installation of new exhaust fans, roof mounted RTU, ducts, and related materials and equipment, new steel structural supports, insulated metal panels at existing window opening, and new roof material for patching and flashing. Work covered by the Alt. Bid #1 includes: providing new ACT ceiling and light fixtures in commons area and boys restroom. Demolition work consists of: creating three new openings in existing masonry walls for new duct penetrations and removal of existing ceiling mounted light fixtures. New work consists of: provision of new ACT systems, new light fixtures, and new thru-wall ducts and grilles.
