| Description | Provide and demonstrate an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) cloud based software, hardware, support, and installation solution for water meters in certain parts of the JEA Service Territory. The solution shall entail meter communication devices (end points), communication infrastructure, and a software system (Head End System, or HES) that brings in and accumulates meter data from the endpoints and distributes data to JEA’s Customer Information System. The solution shall provide initial installation/activation of these components, and ongoing support and supply of necessary components for approximately 2000 water meters. The demonstration term shall be approximately 6 months. JEA may consider another longer-term solicitation for bids upon successful completion of initial proof of concept term. |
