Description | As of June 27, 2023, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. Work shall include but is not limited to: Contract No. 4 Plumbing Construction. The scope of work includes all plumbing construction of two new sanitary pump stations. Each station includes a new water service, including associated metering and backflow prevention, as well as new natural gas service with metering and pressure regulation. Barracks Ave includes directional drilling a new 2" water service. Bids should exclude sales and compensating use taxes on materials incorporated into the work. A bid bond in the amount equal to at least five (5%) percent of the Bid will be required with submission of each bid. The successful bidders, to whom the contracts are awarded, will be required to provide a payment and performance bond equal to the full amount of the Contract. Bids will be received on an itemized unit price basis. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, religion, sex or national origin. New York State Prevailing Wage Requirements shall apply to this project. Bids actually received by mail or by hand after the appointed time on the date specified shall be rejected, notwithstanding that such Bid may have been placed in a mail box or other mail receptacle regularly maintained by the United States Postal Service before such time, and ordinarily in sufficient time to have been delivered on time.
