The work to be performed under this contract for Water Treatment Plant No. 1 Improvements shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for work to be performed under this contract shall consist of furnishing labor, equipment, and materials necessary to rehab or construct the following: 1- Ferric Injection Manhole Rehab 2- Sedimentation Basin No.1 Wall Concrete Repair 3- Sedimentation Basin No.2 & 3 Concrete Repair 4- Replace East Filter Building Valves 5- Replace West Filter Building Valves 6- Replace Surface Wash Pump in East Filter Building 7- Replace Surface Wash Pump in East Filter Building 8- Repair Water leaks in Concrete in East Filter Gallery 9- Add Cooling Unit for Lab Space in West Filter Building 10- Backwash Supply Pump Station Rehabilitation 11- New Chemical Building 12- Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning System 13- Electrical Rehabilitation 14- Re-painting and Stucco Repair of Building Exteriors 15- Miscellaneous Site Civil 16- Replace Clearwell Pumps in East Filter Building 17- Replace Clearwell Pumps in West Filter Building 18- Flocculation Mixers 19- East and West Filter Building Roof Rehab 20- Rehabilitation of Old Chemical Rooms & Storage Room Roofs 21- Upgrade Interior and Exterior Lighting to LED 22- Demolition 23- New Backwash Wastewater Tank and Pump Station 24- Other items as specified and/or shown on the drawings NMED Project Number DWSRF# DW-5919 COF Project # 23-06 Licenses Required (NMAC Title 14 Chapter 6 Part 6) are: 1) GB - 98 2) GF - 9 or GF - 98 3) EE - 98 4) MM - 98 or MM - 1 or MM - 3 Bidder further agrees to pay as liquidated damages in the amount of $2500.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter that the work remains uncompleted. The Bidder shall submit with their bid a bid bond (proposal guarantee) equal to 5% of the total amount bid Subcontractor's Listing Threshold: The Bidder shall list each Subcontractor on the Contractor's List of Subcontractor's, Form AF-5, that has provided a bid to them in the amount of $7,750.00 or more. Safety: Hardhats, Safety Glasses, and protective style work shoes are required. There maybe areas with a hearing hazard in a building. The bidders are required to provide their own safety equipment. Persons in this site visit are required to stay with the group. Photographs may be taken for use of building their bid on this solicitation and must be deleted/destroyed by the non-awarded groups after the award is announced. The pictures, videos, and images, "Media" is protected by the Homeland Security Act. Farmington has a public airport with no commercial flights at this time. Private or chartered aircraft are able to use the airport. Aircraft parking, fuel and rental cars are available at the Farmington Airport. The nearest commercial airports are in Durango, Colorado (about 1 hour drive from Farmington) or Albuquerque, New Mexico (about a 3 hour drive to Farmington). The weather at this time can be unpredictable and there still exists a possibility for snow. A portion of this site visit will be outside.
