Description | The Redmond School District ("the Owner") Requests Proposals from experienced Construction Manager | General Contractors (CM|GC) for the construction of the Seismic Rehabilitation Project.NO EXCEPTION WILL BE MADE. Project Scope of Work: The Redmond School District is seeking a Construction Manager | General Contractor firm to provide CM|GC Services for Seismic upgrades at the following schools: . John Tuck School: Comprehensive seismic improvement of classrooms. . Tumalo Community School: Comprehensive seismic improvement of gymnasium, cafeteria and classrooms. The CM|GC firms responding to this RFP will be evaluated based upon company overview, firm experience, similar project history, and other criteria identified in this RFP. This solicitation does not obligate the Owner to pay any costs incurred in preparation of Proposals. The Owner reserves the right to reject any Proposal that is not in compliance with all prescribed requirements. For good cause, the Owner may reject any or all Proposals upon a written finding that it is in the public interest to do so. ANY PROTEST OR REQUEST FOR CHANGE MUST BE DELIVERED IN WRITING to David McKay, Principal in Charge, HMK Company, at 363 STATE STREET, SALEM, OR 97301, ON OR BEFORE SEVEN (7) DAYS PRIOR TO THE DUE DATE FOR PROPOSALS. The notification of a selected CM/GC is anticipated for October 5, 2023, with the Board Action to Award Contract on or about October 25, 2023. The Design period is expected to be from September 2023, to March 2024. Construction is expected to start June 2024. Completion is expected to end August 2024. Each potential CM|GC must be capable of providing a 100% performance bond and 100% payment bond for the Project in the full amount of the Contract. |
